One day, perhaps a decade or so from now... people will look back on this time and ask why? Why did they allow it happen? Why did nobody speak up, as their music turned to the corruption of automatically tuning... rendering vocal talent and creativity almost irrelevant?... and ultimately spreading that corruption, even unto news broadcasts. One day they'll ask why... but not today

... As much as I've come to despise the auto-tuning movement, I honestly wouldn't mind watching news broadcasts with rendered pitches. I mean, what spells out 'dire situation' better than Katie Couric extolling the dangers of melting polar ice in perfect pitch
