"This is my truth, tell me yours" is the title Japanaese designer Demian Celica Kanou gave her collection for this season, because she reportedly got inspired by the vulnerability of people around the world. Struggle, difference and loneliness all played an important part in the process of her design. Way far from the current color-blocking trend, the offering is almost devoid of color. The designer focused on the inner body. The see-through PVC trench coat, the pants decorated with pearls, the pleated shorts or the embroideries high & low representing blood vessels all refer to internal body parts. The brain mask of the first silhouette, made of leather flowers and butterflies, is the epitome of this lovely collection.
