    What will they think of next?

    The internet tends to take a strange life of its own sometimes. I was not aware of this, but apparently there's been a rash of people publicly coming out over youtube the past few years. Very commendable no doubt; I found particular coming out story somewhat compelling ... (and no it's not simply due to his ultra-cuteness and his association with a fraternity that I'm very familiar with... although that may be part of it cool). Let's just say the guy has more balls than I ever would were I in his place. I'll leave it at that... Joining a national fraternity, then coming out to your brothers, *and* then following that up with youtube? Now that's something.

Sexy Scottish Romance

    The above clip originates from a medical drama titled Casualty, and the two below is from a Scottish soap called Tinsel Town... both originate from the UK of course. I posted them, as they both feature one of the hottest/sexiest up and comers at the time... namely 28 year-old (at the time 20-year old) Scottish actor David Paisley. These clips are actually from the early 2000s; long before a lot of the 'shenanigans' we're seeing in soaps today. At the time, I guess it was considered pushing the boundaries somewhat (apparently the BBC received over 100 complaints from just the first clip alone). Whatever happened to David Paisley? Aside from John Barrowman today, he was probably one of the sexiest openly gay actors in the business, even voted UK's sexiest actor back in 2003. Nowdays he's fallen off the map... where he is now, I haven't the slightest idea confused?

    I should also note, a show like Tinsel Town probably wouldn't last a month here in the US. These two last clips focus on the taboo relationship between David Paisley and actor Paul Hickey (who incidentally has fallen off the acting map as well). I can understand why this show only lasted two seasons... definitely pushed the boundaries as far as they could go. David makes for quite the seducer though. He was such a hottie.

    Easily one of the best artists on Y! Gallery, Crisart's rendition of Apollo and Midnighter is impeccable.

    I've actually posted several of of Crisart's stuff a few months back, but I thought I'd add a couple more of my favorites.

    The Robin/Nightwing and Robin/Superboy pairing has always been slash fanfic favorite. Aside from innuendos at times, don't expect to be seeing this in any comics anytime soon unfortunately cool...

The Return of Torchwood

    So I've recently gotten back into the mix of things, and really started watching Torchwood again. As many of you may already know, Torchwood is a British science-fiction spinoff from the popular Doctor Who series (check out the previous post and awesome jbmales torchwood music video here). The second season got off to a rocky start (let's say I had issues with the first recap episode), but the rest of the season thus far is outstanding, I'm loving it. The show airs on BBC America pretty much every Saturday and Sunday, but being that I'm not usually home during the weekend, I tend to get most episodes off torrents.

    The clips above and below basically show the progression of one of the ongoing romantic relationships in the show... Jack Harkness, the director of Torchwood, and Ianto Jones, one Jack's subordinates. Currently, they're in the process of developing an ever closer bond as the season progresses. The relationship technically started last season, but it's only really taking off in this one... suffice to say they make a scorching hot couple. Definitely complements the show IMO (although I'd still think it was great without it cool)...

    There was an exact scene like this in a movie I came across once...cool...uh a while back, the name escapes me at the moment...

    Now this is a commercial that might actually catch my attention for once. Very creative indeed... albeit a somewhat riské for US television. The ad is for a Russian brand of chocolate called 'БОНЖУР'... which essentially phonetically sounds out to 'Bonjour' (meaning hello in French). The theme is very nice for a commercial though, wouldn't mind seeing more of it.

    Stunning 29 year-old Model Mark F.
    Mark is best known for his series of photo campaigns in the 90s (taken by master photographer Bruce Weber) for Polo Ralph Lauren, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Versace.

    His successful photo modeling eventually lead to him being signed to Boss Models in New York, turning this once unknown southern boy into a major modeling talent, flying to and from New York and Milan (amongst other places).

    "When people call me 'Gorgeous! Beautiful! A babe!' I say, 'Thank you, but...you may need thicker glasses." - Mark Fisher .... Modesty and beauty make for very complementary qualities... this may be an excessive case though confused...
